AMD Dual-Core Optimizer - acceleration for multi-core gamers

AMD today released a new version of the proprietary utility Dual-Core Optimizer. The program is designed to help accelerate the end-user gaming performance on multicore processors by compensating for those applications that bypass the Windows API and works with instructions RDTSC (Read Time Stamp Counter) directly. When you install adds its entry in the file boot.ini.
