Georgian Interior Ministry posted on its official website new computer game “Police“, the development of which was conducted last six months. The game is available for free download and does not require any password during installation.

The game created the game engine Unreal, which was previously developed by Epic Inc.

The game takes place in Georgia - Tbilisi and Batumi, the heroes of the game - the police, speak Georgian, but the game characters and criminals speak and swear in three languages - Georgian, Russian and English.

Speaking earlier in the broadcast of Imedi Georgian Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili said that “usually in computer games, the protagonists are the mafia, criminals who kill police officers, breaking into banks and so on.” “We decided to change this rule and make the game the other hand, where the main character - a cop who does not kill criminals, and carries with respect to their norms stipulated by the law,” - noted the Minister.

According to Merabishvili, it will be “the first serious Georgian computer game” and it is important that it be “free and original.” “I’m sure that several million people in the world will play this game” - the minister said. Merabishvili also promised that the plot of the game will be the mission of identifying Russian spies in Georgia.
